Easter

We had such a fun filled Easter this year. We started out dying Easter eggs at Matt's parents house on Thursday. The kids have so much fun creating their own eggs. Almost all the cousins were there this year. Thanks Pops and Grandma Sue for letting us come over. The kids had so much fun.

Max had so much fun that he insisted we dye some eggs at our house too.

Then on Saturday we went to the annaul Riverton City Easter Egg Hunt. There is soo many people and it is over in less than a minute. And it started raining before the Easter Egg Hunt started :( But the boys were too excited to miss it!

Porter was so excited to get candy, his most favorite thing! Max was not so happy. He was too shy to pick up the candy. Matt kept pushing him to pick things up, but he would say, "I already have one of those Dad." So when everything was gone in less than a minute, he was kinda bummed. He really wanted a fan that he saw other kids getting. So we convinced him that maybe the Easter bunny would bring him one. (So the Easter bunny had to head out Saturday afternoon and hunt for a fan :).

Easter morning was a blast. It is so much fun with little kids. They were soo excited! The Easter bunny left a trail of jelly beans. Porter was in heaven. He couldn't shovel those jelly beans up fast enough. They were both so excited to see what the Easter bunny had brought them. Max was excited to see that he got the two things he asked for. A fan and a little lamb.Max really wanted a Fur Real lamb that makes noise and moves. So Porter decided that he wanted the little piggy. He loved it. He kept kissing it and feeding it the bottle. Too cute!Max had to introduce his new lamby to his other animals. He loves his animals so much. If he could he would have all of them sleep with him every night. But we have convinced him that their is just too many. So he picks a few favorites each night. But his special lamby, that has been with him since he was a baby, is with him always!! It's soo funny sometimes. I have to write this down so that one day when he is older, we can show him this obsession he had :)This is the cute watch that the Easter bunny brought to me. Porter thought that it fit him perfectly. He would wear my bracelets everyday if I let him. He loves jewelry!
We tried to get some pictures of the boys in their Easter clothes, but they wouldn't cooperate. So this is the best of them.After church we went to Matt's parents house for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt. The kids have so much fun finding their eggs. And they do a pretty good job of hiding the adults eggs. It's funny to see some of the crazy places they hide them each year.

Since Porter's 2nd Birthday was the next day, we decided it would be easiest to celebrate with everyone there.

When we asked Porter what he wanted for his birthday, he said "Candy!" So the cake and ice cream was all he needed :) He loves sugar!!!
