Bees Game

We also had the chance to go a Minor League Baseball Game. Max's T-ball coach got his team discount tickets to see the Salt Lake City Bees play. Max was so excited to go. We knew the weather forcast for the evening looked pretty gloomy, but we thought we would chance it. As soon as we walked into the stadium, it started to pour. We didn't even have a chance to get to our seats. We decided to wait it out for a little while and see if it would clear up.
It was raining so hard that they had a crew of guys haul this huge tarp out to cover the infield.

Finally our waiting paid off. It finally cleared up. We had awesome seats right behind home plate. This is Max and his friend Logan. They had a blast together.

By the time the game started it was 9:00 and we knew we wouldn't last very long. But we had a fun time eating peanuts, licorice and big league gum. We lasted through 1 inning and then decided it was too late. But we still had a great time hanging out with friends and eating yummy baseball food!
